Tuesday, September 22 - Lamb to the Slaughter

Objective: By the end of class, students will be assessed on the plot of short fiction and analyze author's use of irony in order to improve reading comprehensive skills.

1. Analyze how Roald Dahl used dramatic irony in Lamb to the Slaughter in order to create suspense.

2. Analyze the differences in Mary Maloney's character before the murder and after the murder and explain how this change in character creates situational irony.
