Objective: by the end of class, students will recognize and define poetic devices including alliteration, hyperbole and rhyme.

DO NOW

Rhyme - noun - words that sound the same
Rhythmic - adj - the flowing sound that rhyming words make.
Rhyme - verb - to put together words that sound the same 

Write a sentence for each of the above words using proper grammar.
