Tuesday, October 18 - Logical Fallacies and elements of persuasion

Objective: By the end of class, students will analyze peersuasive elements in Prsidential candidate speeches in order  to improve persuasive ability and improve comprehensive skills.


DO NOW

Define "logical fallacy."
What is BANDWAGON? Example?
What is a "FALSE CAUSE?" Example?
What is "Black & White"?

Read Clinton article.
Read Trump article.

Independent

Analyze both Trump's and Clinton's use of logical fallacies in their race for the Presidency. Cite two examples from each candidate. In your conclusion, provide your opinion (evaluate) who should win the election and why.
