Friday, October 14 -The Declaration of Human Rights

Objective: By the end of class, students will evaluate the declaration of human rights set forth by the United nations and compare to film in order to improve analytical skills and reading comprehension.

DO NOW

Answers to biggest errors on review sheet:

1. When Summarizing just tell WHO, WHAT,  WHEN, WHERE AND WHY. DO NOT ADD QUOTES FOR DETAILS. YOU DO NOT WANT DETAILS WHEN SUMMARIZING. it is a brief overview.

2. The biggest difference between analyzing and evaluating is that when you evaluate, you add your opinion.

3. 3rd Person Objective Point of View gives NO ONE's thoughts or feelings. it is like viewing through a camera. When omniscient, then you see everyone's thoughts and feelings.
