Analyze Shakespeare's use of symbolism and comic relief after the murder of King Duncan (page 63). What do each contribute to the play? Provide textual evidence to support your answer.
OR
Evaluate Macbeth's vow to challenge fate at the end of ACT 3 scene 1 (page 89). Have the witches prophecies changed Macbeth as a person, or is this Macbeth's true nature and his behaviors would be similar without the prophecies. Use textual evidence to support your answer.
