Monday, December 12 - Fiction -Keystone Review

Objective: By the end of class, students will review elements of fiction and analyze fictional story in order to prepare for the keystone exam.

Direct Instruction

Elements of Fiction Jeopardy 

Review plot structure

Guided

Read page 71-74 - Keystone Finish Line Book  - review of character, setting and plot.

Read the multiple choice questions for Call of the Wild - page 81.

Independent

Read / annotate "The Call of the Wild," looking for answers as you read.

When you answer multiple choice - mark the right answer and explain why it is correct. Then explain why the other answers are wrong. The previous story's questions on pages 76-78 can provide you examples of how this is done (look in green boxes).

No credit will be given for incomplete answers.
