Objective: By the end of class, students will develop a plot structure for Julius Caesar to date and read/view ACT 4 and 5.

Study questions about Act 5, Scene 5 (Brutus’s death):

 1. Why did Brutus want his servant to help him with the sword?
2. Why didn’t Brutus just give up and live?
3. Do you think that Brutus regretted joining the conspirators before he died?
4. Why did Caesar’s ghost visit him earlier in the play?
5. Why did Antony say that Brutus was “the noblest Roman of them all”?
