Objective: By the end of class, students will analyze drama in order to improve reading comprehensive skills.
DO NOW
Make inferences and predictions:
1. Why didn't Macbeth kill Banquo and (try to) kill Fleance himself? Look at what he says, (page 93) and then, knowing Macbeth's and Banquo's past relationship, make another educated guess as to why.
2. Macbeth wants to go see the witches again. What do you predict results from this meeting? ( look at page 125 for some information about that meeting)
3. Macduff has openly defied Macbeth by going to England to meet with Malcolm and King Edward. When asked to return per Macbeth's request, he said, "no." What do you think is going to happen? (page 129 will give you some information about this)
